Michele Visser

Director/Pastor

   Michele is the new executive director at the Indian Family Centre, replacing Jeanet Sybenga who died of breast cancer in October of 2009. Michele comes to the Indian Family Centre from several different non profit organizations in Winnipeg, including Winnipeg Harvest, SERC and The Youth Network.  She is really happy to be part of such a great organization serving Winnipeg’s north end residents.  

 

Wanda Levasseur

Community Liason

   Wanda is an asset to our community, bringing her knowledge of the traditional Aboriginal ways. She also brings the gift of her first language, Ojibwe, and is available for counselling and support to our community members in both English and Ojibwe.

Susan Zhang

Accountant

Susan brings a wealth of knowledge about financial matters. She works part time for the Indian Family Centre, and her organizational skills are a gift to our community.

Sandy Vance

Centre Host

As a valued volunteer, Sandy may be the first person you meet when you enter the Indian Family Centre. He serves as our host, ensuring that you’ll have tea or coffee, keeping our floors neat and clean during the day, and watching over the kitchen.
